"Guns Across America" rallies in support of the Second Amendment were held at state capitols around the nation on January 19. I attended the one in Sacramento. The rally started at noon and lasted about two hours, with several speakers addressing the crowd. I saw families there, a troop of Boy Scouts, a group of lesbians, bikers, veterans, and lots and lots of people in their twenties. Citizens from all walks of life and backgrounds and interests, most likely at odds on many issues, but in agreement on the Second Amendment.
